We investigate how skeletons support our bodies and protect vital organs. Learn the names of the most important bones, see x-rays, and collect facts about their shapes and properties. Compare animal specimens and try the ‘bone detectives’ challenge, identifying and sketching different species. Visit the natural history galleries and discover creatures with external skeletons, fossilised dinosaur bones plus snake and chimpanzee exhibits.
