Meet Mary Anning, the remarkable Victorian fossil collector from Lyme Regis. She tells of her greatest find-the first fossil Ichthyosaur which she discovered when she was only 12 years old!
The children help her identify her fossil finds and enter a world of strange sea creatures, dinosaurs and marine reptiles. They discover how fossils where formed millions of years ago examine some wonderful specimens from our handling collection and create a timeline to find out how creatures today have evolved.
Duration: 1.5 hours | 10.30am -12noon or 1pm - 2.30pm
