Duration: 4 hours - 10.30am - 2.30pm

Two facilitated sessions - including visit to the prehistoric galleries – and subsequent ‘Crest Discovery Award’ achievement
Session 1 - Understanding Fossils: Students work with the geology collection and fossils to better appreciate the process of sedimentation and fossilisation and relevance of fossil record to evolutionary theories of Charles Darwin and Alfred Russell Wallace.
Session 2 - Design a Gallery: Students work as individuals - or in groups - applying learning from the ‘Understanding Fossils’ session and interacting with prehistoric galleries to produce Paleo-art.
